Customer Service Failures Abound!

It’s been a big time for customer service failures it seems.

  1. LPL Financial. I’m trying to transfer some funds and after not seeing anything happen I am told I have to notarize the form. It does not say that anywhere on the form but that is what I must do. This leads to ….
  2. Wells Fargo. I bring my forms to Wells Fargo, my bank for the last 200 years, but the line in South Fort Pierce is too long. So, I go to the location on Orange Avenue in Fort Pierce, Florida. My wife always warns me not to go there because they are always nasty and have refused to help her in the past. I disregard this warning. I present my forms to “Eden” the branch manager, who refuses to notarize the forms! I argue, I plead, I make angry Donald Trump-faces, but she doesn’t budge. This is Friday at 4pm.
  3. I do get the forms notarized Monday morning elsewhere without any trouble.
  4. Comcast email is down across the entire galaxy. Finally on Sunday afternoon, they post a message, although it says “1 month ago.” Not sure what that is. But, it does get fixed later that day and I am able to receive all my spam mail I’ve been waiting for!

  1. Tire Kingdom. Errrrr. I like Tire Kingdom, but this made me upset. I made an online appointment on Sunday to bring my wife’s car in Monday morning in Stuart, Florida. We switch cars and I drive through holiday traffic to get to my appointment. The Tire Dude says that all computers are down across the Kingdom. So, they can’t take care of me because of that. He suggests I contact the Kingdom directly. Which I did. However, I guess my problems will go unanswered for a while. Here’s my response from Consumer Affairs:

Ohler, Kevin KOHLER@tbccorp.com I am currently out of the office with limited e-mail and voice access. I will be returning on Tuesday December 22nd.

So, bottom line: Tire Kingdom, Comcast, LPL Financial and Wells Fargo have all disappointed me with their shoddy customer service. I know problems happen and I hope Tire Kingdom will make good and I can remain a loyal customer. Comcast is a no-win situation, and LPL and Wells Fargo I’ve lost total confidence in.
